SteenDier website launch offers a window into the minds and opinions of two Luxembourg based international investment experts
Advice based on long experience can make its recipient feel uncomfortable. They may be confronted by things they don’t expect. But independent Luxembourg fund advisers, SteenDier, are unapologetic about the input they provide.
A section of SteenDier’s recently-launched website offers Expertise and Opinion based on own experience and analysis. The site illustrates SteenDier’s commitment to continuous sharing of insights and advice as delivered to its’ international client base of investors, management companies and funds across all asset classes and jurisdictions.

Rikard Lundgren, Steendier’s founder, adds, “We hope the website will illustrate our combined knowledge, which is the basis for our advice to alternative investment funds, especially useful for start-ups in Luxembourg. We hope our website opens a window to the experience we have accumulated in our previous roles as CEO, CIO, CFO, COO and CRO, including being on the buy-side of Luxembourg services for in excess of 20 fund projects.”
About Frédérique Lundgren
Frédérique Lundgren is a partner of SteenDier, based in Luxembourg.
Frédérique advises her clients from the positions of independent director, conducting officer and risk manager. She is also advising clients on how to best set up new Luxembourg fund structures.
Prior to founding SteenDier Frédérique spent 26 years at Paribas where she became responsible for the financial management of the bank’s international operations. She was Secretary to the Board and held directorships of several subsidiaries. For two years, she was seconded to Banque de France to be the representative of the French Banking Commission on one of the Basel Committee’s working groups.
About Rikard Lundgren
Rikard Lundgren, the founder of SteenDier, is a Luxembourg-based advisor and independent director.
Rikard advises both regulated and non-regulated funds as independent director and chairman as well as supervisory board member. Together with Frédérique he is advising clients on how to best set up new Luxembourg fund structures.
He is a speaker and trainer on investment related subjects such as crisis management, risk, ETF markets and fund governance.
Prior to founding SteenDier Rikard served as CIO and partner of IMQubator a APG-backed alternative investment seeder fund. Over the past 15 years he served as chief investment officer for several multi-asset class institutional investment portfolios with assets ranging between €250 million to €20 billion. He has accumulated more than 20 years of experience as Non-Executive Director and over 15 years of chairing boards.
